After the free trial period / session, any personal training or group training sessions booked in advance will be subject to our cancellation policy.
Any cancelled or ‘no show’ private sessions are forfeited unless rescheduled with at least twenty four (24) hours notice prior to delivery of training and any cancelled or ‘no show’ group PT sessions will be forfeited unless rescheduled with at least twelve (12) hours notice prior to delivery of training.
We do not accept cash payment for our services.
For private personal training, payments will occur on the 1st of every month, or the next working day, in arrears for the previous months training sessions, via direct debit.
For small group training – direct debits will occur every fortnight, pre-paid for the 2 weeks ahead. Any changes to the payment amount as a result of missed sessions (within the cancellation period) must be requested via email in advance, according to the The Fit Stop ‘policies and procedures’ handout, which all clients will receive.
There are no minimum ‘lock in’ contracts, direct debits can be cancelled at any time with 1 weeks notice.
To cancel your direct debit please notify via email, 1 week prior to your next debit date.
All private and group sessions paid for in advance are non refundable.
The Fit Stop (Vic) reserves the right to make exceptions based on the situation and at our discretion.
Please consult with your GP before embarking on your new fitness regime. Please ensure a qualified medical practitioner has not advised you against any form of exercise.
Strength training, flexibility and aerobic exercise, including the use of equipment is a potentially hazardous activity. There exists the possibility of adverse changes during exercise including abnormal blood pressure, fainting, disorder of heart rhythm, stroke and very rare instances of heart attack or even death. If you choose to participate in personal training sessions at The Fit Stop (Vic), it is understood you are aware of the dangers involved and will assume and accept any and all risk of injury or death.
