Mums group 
Our Small Group Training Sessions will help you:

  • Lose weight & tone up
  • Improve functional strength
  • Improve posture
  • Deal with the strains and stresses of being a new mum
  • Get back to your pre-baby condition (or better!)

These sessions are geared towards new mums, often starting slow and getting you back into pre-baby shape through sensible progressions in training with a focus on functional movement, strength training, mobility & flexibility, and correct training technique.

We’ve had new mums start training as soon as 6 weeks from giving birth, although everyone is different and its important to get medical clearance from your doctor or health care nurse before starting.

As we have quite a large facility, most mums bring their baby’s in with their prams. As expected with  baby’s around, things might not always smoothly but we make it work! You might have to sneak off to attend to your little one every now and then but that doesn’t have to stop you from exercise…we do what we can and we get it done.

Our personal trainers at The Fit Stop are experienced & educated with a focus on high quality training for long term progress and results, most of us have several young children ourselves, so we’re more than happy to assist you where we can – in fact its not uncommon to see the trainers walking around with a baby in their arms during the session!

So No Excuses!  There is absolutely no reason to miss out on exercise because you are a new mum, in fact its more important than ever for your own health & wellbeing (& sanity!)
